Plain-English summary of how ShieldMyDoc handles your information.
Your document
When you upload a PDF, it is sent to our review service so a report can be generated for you. ShieldMyDoc does not save your document to a database, and we do not build a library of your files. We do not sell your document or use it to advertise to you.
Processing happens through a third-party AI provider that we call on your behalf to produce your review. Your review results are shown in your browser during your session.
No account required
You do not need to create an account to run a review. If you buy a multi-review bundle, we ask you to verify your email with a one-time code so only you can use the credits attached to that address.
Email address
We store your email address when you buy a review (for the receipt and any prepaid credits) or when you ask for the free estate checklist. If you request the checklist, we may send you up to two short follow-up emails. You can reply to ask us to remove your address at any time.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered with Stripe and are never seen or stored by ShieldMyDoc. We keep a record that a purchase happened, the amount, and the email associated with it.
Security
Traffic to and from this site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Our database access is restricted by row-level security rules. We do not claim any specific security certification, and we do not claim attorney-client privilege — ShieldMyDoc is not a law firm and communications with it are not privileged.
